Kemen Demecser

Demecser is an ancient settlement in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, Hungary, with roots dating back to the Bronze Age. First mentioned around 1270–1272 as "Kemény Demecser," it was a medieval estate featuring a 13th-century motte-and-bailey castle known as Tündérvár or Lányvár. Key historic landmarks include an 1820 Reformed church and an 1896 Roman Catholic church.
