I'll show you how I did it

I will tell you that I worked in casinos for years, gained my experience there and developed the winning strategy for blackjack. Remember that high school math you found so pointless? Well, turns out it wasn't so useless after all. Blackjack strategy is built on mathematical equations.

Stick With It

Basic blackjack strategy is proven to deliver wins over the long term. So if you bomb the first couple of rounds don't dismiss it. Mathematical odds have proven that even if you bow to the dealer for a few consecutive hands you'll still come out on top overall, so it's important you stick with the strategy. Even, if you don't win right away. Patience, as they say, is a virtue.

Even the luck of a poor man is poor.

No matter what your level of experience and skill, when it comes to playing real money blackjack in an online casino, these basic blackjack strategies are easy for anyone to learn and put into practice.

A Basic Blackjack Strategy To Increase Your Odds

Blackjack relies on a player's ability to correctly call when to hit, stand, split or double down. But when the card being played is blind how can you know what the right decision is ahead of time? Easy - you use a chart of hands, often called a blackjack cheat sheet.

Getting that House Edge Down
Blackjack cheat sheets, such as the one on this page, include hard hands, soft hands, and pairs, and how to play combinations of them all. Without this strategy, the house edge can be between 8 to 10 percent at a minimum. But using a blackjack chart can reduce that edge to just one percent and is the first and most basic key to making money at the game.

Knowing When to Split Everyone is the blacksmith of his own fortune.

The first step to mastering blackjack strategy is pairs, which have splitting rules. Always split eights and aces. Split twos, threes, and sevens against any dealer card less than eight. Split sixes against any card less than seven. Split nines against anything except ace, ten, or seven. And only ever split fours against a five or a six. Never split fives or tens.

Hard hands don't allow aces to be counted as 11. Rules in this category include doubling against any eleven, even if there's an ace, doubling against any ten (except if there's an ace or ten for the dealer) and doubling a nine if the dealer shows three, four, five, or six.

Soft Hands & Doubling Up

Soft hands contain an ace that counts as eleven or one depending on the need of the hand to stay under 21. In those cases always double against a five or six. Double against a four if you have 15 or more. Double against a three if you have 17 or more and double soft 18 against a two. Be sure to know the rules of the blackjack hand you're playing, to know if the dealer will stand or hit a soft 17.

Getting To Grips With Systems Blackjack strategy guide

Now we've got basic blackjack strategy nailed, we're going to look at two simple and commonplace blackjack systems. Just like with using a blackjack chart, systems can also help you to gain an advantage over the house and increase the odds in your favour.

Positive And Negative Progression Systems
In the positive progression system players will raise their bets after a win to help fund future hands from the profits they've accrued on previous hands. This is considered a fairly conservative betting system because a string of losses won't hit your bankroll too hard.

With a negative progression betting system players raise their bets after losses, which in an ideal world would always bring you back to a break-even point. However, a string of losses can wipe out a player's bankroll altogether, so unsurprisingly this blackjack system is often regarded as the riskier of the two.

To demonstrate the negative betting system, let's look at an example. Bill sits down at a blackjack table and wagers $5 and wins. His next two hands he bets the same $5 each time, but loses. This means he is down $5 and for the next hand, would wager $10. If he were to lose again, he would be down $15 and make that amount the value of his next bet, and so forth.

What you find here is a Blackjack strategy that helps you to play better.

Think of it like playing a video game with a guide, or going on a guided tour when you go on vacation.

That's not cheating - that's just sensible precautions. Sure, you think, but isn't blackjack a game, and wouldn't a winning strategy be against the spirit of that game?

If you're thinking that, then, my friend, you are nobler than most players. The world might need more people like you - but you need to change your approach if you want to have your best chances to win at Blackjack.

First, though, let's take you through some basics of deck Blackjack terminology and Blackjack strategy, as you'll need to know what these words and phrases mean in order to decipher what our Cheat Sheet tells you.

Soft hand: This is when there is an ace in your hand, meaning there is no chance of you busting after the draw. The ace can be 1 or 11, but your hand must not total more than 21. Here are those soft combinations:

A2 - 13 (13 or 3)
A3 - 14 (14 or 4)
A4 - 15 (15 or 5)
A5 - 16 (16 or 6)
A6 - 17 (17 or 7)
A7 - 18 (18 or 8)
A8 - 19 (19 or 9) - almost always stand
A9 - 20 (20 or 10) - always stand!
An ace with 10 or a face card is an unbeatable blackjack.

2 Money slot
3 Chip tray
4 Stake trap box
5 Divider box shoe

Hard hand: The combined total of any two cards not containing an ace. Here are the possible hard hands:

9-7 (hard 16)
8-6 (hard 14)
10-7 (hard 17)
It's riskier to draw with a hard hand, as there is more chance of busting.

Hit: drawing another card.
Stand: when your hand is good enough.
Double down: this is when you, or another player, increase the wager.

What is Blackjack?

Black Jack - a game also known as 21 - is the thrill! That is why it has been considered a classic of card games since its inception. But maybe you should try it yourself, decide if you want another card to get closer to 21 than Krupi.

There are 7 boxes arranged in a semicircle on the Black Jack card table, and the players place their bets in these square boxes. The game is played with six packs of cards, each containing 52 cards. The guests taking a place (seated) at the table are called box owners. Guests playing standing around the table must accept the decisions of the pit owner. The current minimum stakes are indicated on the game tables. The maximums are per box.

How can I learn Black Jack?

This walkthrough will introduce you to the basics of this simple game. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our highly qualified staff who will be happy to help you.

Which card is worth how much?

The value of the cards is the same as that indicated on them from 2 to 10. The Suits - King, Queen, Jack - are worth 10, Ace 1 and 11, respectively.

What is Black Jack?

Black Jack is a combination of an Ace and a face or an Ace and a 10 with the first two cards. Black Jack is stronger than any other card combination.

How can you win at Black Jack?

The player's goal is for the total value of his cards to be higher than the value of the Krupié's cards, but not to exceed 21, or for the value of the Krupié's cards to be more than 21.

In this case, you win an amount equal to your bet (1:1). When you have a Black Jack combination, your winnings are paid out at a ratio of 3:2.

After each player has placed his bet on the table, the Croupier deals two face up cards to each box and one to himself. In a specific order, the owner of each box can request another card for as long as he thinks. The player whose cards exceed 21 loses his bet and his cards are drawn by the Croupier.

After the owner of the last booth no longer asks for a card (indicated by announcing "Stay" or "No"), the Krupié also draws a second card. If your cards total 16 or less, you must draw another card. If the sum of your cards exceeds 17, you cannot draw any more cards! If the Croupier exceeds 21, all players remaining in the game automatically win.

The insurance:

If the Krupié's first card is an Ace, you can insure yourself against the Krupié's Black Jack by placing a bet of the appropriate value in the Insurance field. Its value can be played from half to double the bet. If the Krupié has Black Jack, the insurance amount is paid out in a ratio of 2:1, otherwise it is lost.

Game situations and special expressions in Black Jack:

Black Jack - Reaching 21 with the first two cards (e.g.: Ace and King) Black Jack is stronger than any other card combination.

Double - you can double your bet after the first two cards. After that, however, you can only get one card. If you play on someone else's box, you can only double if the owner of the box also doubles.

Split - when your first two cards are of the same value, you can split them (e.g. two sixes or two jacks). In this case, you continue playing with two split cards and two split bets, but even further splits are possible (maximum 4). For each dealt card, an additional bet of the same size is required. You can then receive additional cards for the game as you wish. Exception: For two split Aces, you may receive only one card each. (In this case, 21 is not Black Jack, since the card combination was not reached with the first two cards.) You can also double after dealing.

Perfect Pair:

An additional game to Black Jack is Perfect Pair, a special betting option where the player bets on the first two cards dealt. The bet must be placed in the designated area before the cards are dealt.

Payments:

Mixed pair: 6:1.

2 cards of the same value, of different colors, with different symbols.

Color pair: 12:1

2 cards of the same value, of the same color, with different symbols.

Perfect Pair: 25:1

2 cards of the same value, of the same color, with the same symbol.

A "perfect pair" bet wins if the first two cards dealt form a pair as described above.
