The United States of America is also struggling for our sovereignty and while we (The United States & Hungary) don’t share a long and storied history together, we share an equally strong desire for our sovereignty and our freedoms (all of them). From my American point of view, I see the struggle as Americanism vs Globalism. It is an epic struggle and while the globalists see themselves holding levers of power pockets in Europe, parts of South America, the Middle East, South Asia, and North America, I believe it is the American people that remain the last redoubt for all of humanity, but your strong voice for freedom, national sovereignty, protection of your Hungarian way of life, all matter and matter in a big way (historic really). Don’t allow the minority left in Europe (and Hungary) to impose and then destroy your great country like they are doing to the rest of Europe. Sir Winston Churchill said, “the inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.” Capitalism, with its inherent weaknesses drives innovation and creates opportunities, while socialism destroys societies. Globalism equates to a worse form of socialism, while Americanism drives prosperity, but only if it is allowed to thrive. Another very smart sentiment that Churchill shared during his life with the segments of humanity willing to listen was his idea about different forms of government. “Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…” Keep being the Churchill of your time in Europe. Keep standing up against the tidal wave of false hope the globalists try to force down your citizens’ throats. For those tens of millions of us in America who still believe in our experiment in democracy called a constitutional republic, we’ll do the same.
